Bike Fit Exeter

Jon

Hi, I’m Jon, founder of CORE Bike Fit and an IBFI Level 2 Bike Fitter.

Cycling has been a huge part of my life for years, and CORE Bike Fit was created with one simple aim: to help every rider find a position that genuinely works for their body, goals, and riding style. CORE stands for Creating the Optimal Rider Experience, and that idea guides everything I do — from the first conversation to long after your fit is complete.

My approach goes beyond traditional bike fitting. Alongside my bike fitting qualifications, I have completed Level 1 training in Applied Movement Neurology (AMN). This training focuses on how the brain and nervous system influence movement, stability, and control on the bike. By understanding how your brain and body work together, I can better identify why certain positions feel uncomfortable or inefficient — and make adjustments that lead to more sustainable improvements.

I founded CORE Bike Fit in 2022 to support cyclists of all levels, whether that means riding pain-free for the first time, building confidence on the bike, or unlocking meaningful performance gains. A good bike fit isn’t just about numbers — it’s about improving comfort, efficiency, and enjoyment while reducing the risk of injury as your riding evolves.

Over the years, I’ve worked with a wide range of riders, from professional athletes to those riding purely for enjoyment. No two fits are the same. Every session is tailored to you — your current needs, your future goals, and how you want cycling to fit into your life.

Beyond fitting, I also created CORE Bike Club — a welcoming community for like-minded cyclists who want to ride, learn, and progress together. It’s a supportive space built around shared knowledge, confidence, and a love of getting more from both ourselves and our bikes.

Thank you for considering CORE Bike Fit. If you’re looking for a thoughtful, individual approach to bike fitting — one that adapts with you over time — I’d love to help you create your optimal rider experience.
